Disney Lorcana's next set is called Hyperia City, and the official Ravensburger calendar puts the prerelease on October 16, 2026 at Ravensburger Play Hub stores, with mass release a week later on October 23. That is not a rumor Discord. That is the Attack of the Vine! press release from June 23, 2026, the same document that walked the July set and then pointed at the autumn metropolis. Disney Parks Blog's D23 panel coverage repeats the October 16 prerelease, adds that Hyperia City debuts glimmers from Pixar's Coco, and notes Prerelease Boxes return for the Play Hub window. I am filing this on September 3 because September is when collectors stop living in the last set and start budgeting for the next till date.

Attack of the Vine! already streeted. Prerelease July 17 at game stores and select Disney Parks, everywhere July 24. Up, Monsters, Inc., and Turning Red glimmers. Team classification for Shift. Core Constructed rotation on July 17 to Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown, and Attack of the Vine!. That was summer's product. Hyperia City is the music-and-metropolis follow-up Ravensburger previewed for autumn. Coco is the debut IP callout. Héctor Rivera showed up as a D23 purchase incentive card from the upcoming set, according to the Parks Blog panel writeup. I am not inventing card text. I am saying the company put Coco on the roadmap in public.

October 16 is a Play Hub prerelease. October 23 is when the city hits every till.

D23 also teased the next Curator's Collection for October 2026: Beauty and the Beast. Ravensburger's panel language, via Disney Parks Blog, frames Curator's Collections as alt-art priorities after the Heroines Edition. That is a sealed-product sentence collectors hear in their sleep. Anniversary and curated boxes are how TCG companies sell people who do not grind local game stores. Hyperia City is the constructed set. Beauty and the Beast is the shelf object for people who want a tale as old as time in foil. Same month. Two wallets.

I am not going to invent Hyperia City MSRPs. Ravensburger has not put a public dollar figure in the materials I am using for this brief, and I will not hallucinate a booster box price. What I have are dates, channels, and IP. Prerelease Boxes return at Play Hub stores on October 16. Mass release October 23. Coco debuts. Music and magic of a bustling metropolis, in the company's own marketing voice. The hero art on this page is the official Hyperia City key art Disney Parks Blog ran from the D23 announcements: Miguel with the skull guitar, marigold swirl, Prerelease October 16, 2026 badge, Ravensburger mark, Disney/Pixar copyright. That is the product face of the set before the checklist drops.

Why September matters for an October set is boring and true. Sealed product budgets happen on paydays, not on street dates. Local stores decide allocation. Online preorders open and vanish. Play Hub prereleases reward people who can travel or who already live near a Ravensburger branded counter. The rest of us refresh retailers on October 23 and pretend we meant to wait. Lorcana has trained that behavior through every set since the flood storyline. Attack of the Vine! was the summer blockbuster art pass. Hyperia City is the city set that asks whether Coco collectors will show up for a TCG they might not play.

Coco is not a cameo. It is the debut IP of the autumn set.

Roadmap honesty, because Ravensburger already printed the next chapters. Q1 2027 is Into the Inkdark, villains. Q2 2027 is a galactic adventure among the story stars, later discussed at D23 as Cosmic Quest. That means Hyperia City is not the end of the year. It is the autumn pillar before the villain set. Collectors who only buy Disney princess IP still get Beauty and the Beast Curator's Collection in October. Players who chase rotation get Hyperia City's mechanical toys, which are not fully public yet beyond the metropolis pitch. I will not invent keywords. Team Shift was the Vine story. Hyperia will announce its own verbs when Ravensburger is ready.

Compare this desk to the Pokémon anniversary industrial complex without re-litigating that other brief. Pokémon's 30th Celebration is a mid-September foil lottery with Pikachu in every pack. Lorcana's Hyperia City is a mid-October story set with a Pixar debut and a Play Hub prerelease ritual. Different religions. Same shelf pressure. September is when both calendars start arguing for space in a collector's closet. I am keeping Pokémon out of this piece except as weather. The forecast is two major Disney-adjacent card products in six weeks if you count Beauty and the Beast as a curated SKU. That is enough weather.

Infinity Constructed versus Core Constructed is the eternal Lorcana fork. Attack of the Vine! already rotated Core. Hyperia City will add another legal stack for people who play the rotating format and another pile of chase art for Infinity whales. Sealed collectors do not care about legality until the box is graded or flipped. Players care immediately. The wire has to hold both audiences without lying to either. So: if you play Core, October 16 is a format event at Play Hubs. If you collect Coco, October 16 is when the first Héctor-adjacent cardboard can be touched in the wild. If you only want Beauty and the Beast foil, watch the Curator's Collection street communications and do not confuse it with the booster set.

Hyperia City's setting is doing more work than a logo. The official map from the D23 presentation labels Old Towne Hyperia, Marigold District, The Greenway, City Center, Wandering Straits, The Gearwheel, Kingswell Port, and a Multidisciplinary Academy for Genius, Imagination & Creativity. That is not card text and I will not pretend it is. It is world-building scaffolding for art directors, a place to stage glimmers that have spent three years fighting floods and vines. Coco entering through a Marigold District is the visual pun anyone can see. Whether the rules use that geography is still unannounced.

The Miguel key art understands the assignment. Red hoodie. White skull guitar. Marigold petals winding around a bright Art Deco city. A black badge that says Prerelease October 16, 2026. Ravensburger did not lead with a booster wrapper. It led with an invitation to a place. That is the mature TCG pitch. The cards are objects, but the set is a neighborhood. Players will argue about power. Collectors will argue about art. Parents will buy Miguel because Coco already made the family cry.

The D23 Héctor card is important as marketing, not as a promise of pull rates. Disney Parks Blog says the special D23 Collection included a card from Hyperia City featuring Héctor Rivera. I do not have a public rarity sheet in front of me. I do not know if the same art will appear in regular packs. I will not tell you to pay convention premiums for a future set preview. D23 exclusivity is a souvenir economy. Hyperia City's October release is the product economy. Do not confuse a preview card with an investment thesis.

Shelf math without fake prices. A modern TCG autumn means booster boxes, decks if any are announced, prerelease kits, and at least one premium side SKU. Lorcana loves side SKUs. Curator's Collection is the named one for October. Prerelease Boxes are back for Play Hubs. Mass market will get the usual constellation once Ravensburger publishes the full English checklist and product grid. Until that grid is public, the honest article is dates and IP, not a fake receipt.

Buy into Hyperia City if you already live in Lorcana's storyline and you want Coco on the same shelves as Belle. Buy the Curator's Collection if you are a Beauty and the Beast completionist who does not grind Challenge events. Skip the prerelease travel if Play Hub geography is a joke where you live and you can wait seven days for mass. Skip the set entirely if Attack of the Vine! still owns your binder and your wallet needs a quiet October. I will not shame a skip. Cardboard is optional. Rent is not.

My own plan is to watch the Play Hub list, note October 16, and refuse to invent a chase rarity before Ravensburger shows the sheet. I want Miguel's city on a playmat because the key art is doing real work. I want to see whether Héctor is a one-off D23 teaser or a set face. I will budget for the Curator's Collection only after I see the alt-art preview quality. Hyperia City prereleases October 16 at Play Hubs. Mass is October 23. Coco debuts. Beauty and the Beast gets a curated box the same month. September is for clearing space. October is for the city.
