Hot Toys put Insomniac's Logan on a 1/6 body and called the suit Battle Reborn. Yellow and black, weathered on purpose, silicone arms over a metal skeleton, about 29 centimeters of mutant who still has to wait for a ship window. ComicBookMovie ran the official copy this week. TheGamer, filing today, put a number on the standard figure: about $285, with preorders not opening until Marvel's Wolverine launches on September 15. That is the action-figure object. Not a fake in-game drop rate. Not a deluxe dollar I am going to invent because the deluxe page is still coy.

Five claw pairs are a wardrobe. Omega Red is the geography you pay extra to stand on.

Five claw pairs are the real accessory sermon. Adamantium, Scarlet, Diamond, Charred Bone, Savage Bone, plus translucent slash effects you clip on so the shelf looks like a freeze-frame. The official sheet also throws in a carved katana ornament from the Last Stand at Cold Pines mission. That is a lot of hands for a man who already has knives in his fists. Hands are how Hot Toys turns a game cosmetic menu into a spare-parts tax. I respect the tax when the claws actually look like different materials. I roll my eyes when the tax is just a second scowl.

The head is a kit. Two eye plates. Two lower faces. Two cowl flap sets so you can choose how wrecked the wings look. That is more face math than most sixth-scale soldiers get, and it is the right math for Wolverine, who lives in the inch between tired and berserk. Seamless silicone arms are the adult part. Paint apps on a yellow suit are the fan part. If the weathering reads as dirt instead of factory sponge, the $285 is a tool. If it reads as sponge, it is a poster that happens to stand up.

Deluxe is not a bigger Logan. Deluxe is Omega Red as geography. The official language is a battle-themed diorama base: a bust of Omega Red bursting from shattered rock, UV eyes, and two long wire-embedded Carbonadium tentacles you can coil around the figure. That is a statue wearing an action-figure alibi. I am filing the alibi here because the body still articulates. The tentacles are the reason you pay the unnamed extra. I will not print a deluxe MSRP from a forum conversion. TheGamer said the extra cost is unclear. Unclear is allowed. Inventing is not.

Ship talk is already a year-plus dare. TheGamer says July 2027 at the earliest. Other coverage has pointed at the back half of 2027. Preorder on launch day, live with the object in 2027. That is the Hot Toys calendar. I already watched this company sell a limited Victor Von Doom as a countdown without a date in three thousand Victors is the preorder tax. Logan is not a 3,000-piece panic, at least not in the copy I have. Logan is a catalog soldier who happens to have tentacles on the expensive ticket.

The game is the other till. Marvel's Wolverine is a PS5 exclusive on September 15, five days from this filing, $69.99 on the standard digital sticker in the live SKU copy. I already treated the street date as a hardware appointment in September 15 is the Wolverine SKU. The figure is how Sideshow-class shelves try to ride that appointment into 2027. Riding is fine. Pretending the plastic ships with the disc is how people get angry at a tracking number that does not exist yet.

I keep thinking about the claw menu as a tell. Games sell cosmetics because a live service needs a weekly reason to open the store. A $285 statue does not need a weekly store. It needs one good yellow. Five claw finishes is Hot Toys admitting the game is a wardrobe. Wardrobes are collectible catnip. Wardrobes are also how a shelf becomes a parts drawer. If you only display Adamantium, you paid for four ghosts in a box. Ghosts in a box are still a product. Just name them.

Battle Reborn as a suit name is doing comic work. The yellow is the Fox-era memory and the Insomniac update at once. Weathering is how the company says this Logan has already been through a mission you have not played yet if you are waiting for the 15th. Spoilers in silicone are a weird flex. I will not map which boss dirt belongs to which scratch. Premise only. He fights. The suit looks like it fought. Omega Red is in the deluxe dirt on purpose.

Compare the Doom aisle without collapsing the week. Yesterday's Victor figure was a recruitment costume theory with a second mask. Today's Logan is a brute with interchangeable rage. Same factory grammar, different emotional rent. Hot Toys is very good at selling a face plate as a personality. Face plates are cheaper than a second figure and more honest than a glow. I will take a second scowl over a LED that dies in 2029.

What I want from this reveal is a body that can actually slouch. Wolverine who stands at attention is a cosplay cop. Wolverine who leans into a tentacle is a comic panel. The deluxe photos already understand the lean. The standard photos will have to earn the lean with a plain stand and a lot of ankle tilt. Ankle tilt is the unsung skill of sixth-scale. If the boots are vinyl bricks, the $285 becomes a mannequin in a nice shirt.

Preorder on the 15th. Live with the object in 2027. Those are two different tills.

Selfish buying advice, because this desk is a wallet with opinions. If you only want Logan, the standard at about $285 is the object TheGamer named. If you want the fight, you are in deluxe country and you need to wait for a printed extra. If you want the game more than the shelf, buy the PS5 SKU on the 15th and let 2027 be 2027. People who preorder both are not wrong. They are just stacking two different clocks. Clocks are how this hobby eats weekends.

I will not call this a must-buy. Must-buy is a YouTube word. I will call it a correctly greedy reveal. Correctly greedy means the claws are real options, the arms are silicone, the deluxe actually changes the geography, and the street date of the preorder is glued to a video game people are already arguing about. Arguments about a 77 Metacritic do not cancel a yellow suit. They might make you wait for a sale. Waiting is still collecting. Collecting is still a till.

Last shelf sentence. Hot Toys' Marvel's Wolverine 1/6 is a Battle Reborn Logan with a claw menu, a rage kit, and an Omega Red diorama if you pay the unnamed extra. Preorders are stamped for September 15. The plastic is stamped for 2027. I am filing the stamp, not a unboxing. If the tentacles hold a pose, deluxe wins. If they slump into spaghetti, you bought a bust that needed a wire and did not get enough of one. Wires are the adult review. Yellow is the poster.
