dorkify publishes under two bylines: Bart Christoff (editor) and Miles Archer (staff writer). They are real people on this masthead. Pieces are not co-bylined.
AI assistance (disclosure)
Every article includes this line near the end of the piece:
How we made this: researched and drafted with AI assistance. Sources are linked in the piece.
We do not claim human editorial review on that line. Facts, dates, castings, and box-office numbers are checked against public reporting. Prose, titles, and takes are original dorkify commentary. We do not invent quotes or paste wire headlines as titles.
Sources and links
Outbound links point at primary or clearly attributed reporting when we rely on a fact. Internal links point at other indexable dorkify articles. Affiliate or commerce links use rel="sponsored" (and open in a new tab).
Reviews and grades
A graded review needs a real watch/play/hands-on basis noted in our internal review notes. Unreleased titles are not sold as finished reviews; we label them as previews, tracking notes, or shelf grades when that is what they are.
Corrections
If we get a fact wrong, we update the article and refresh dateModified. We do not silently restamp datePublished to fake freshness.
Indexing honesty
Expired countdown sequels and near-duplicate advances may be noindexed or merged. We do not cloak: Googlebot and humans get the same HTML.
