Agreement

By accessing or using https://dorkify.com/ ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Dorkify ("we," "us," or "our").

What the Site is

Dorkify publishes original commentary and nerd-culture coverage about games, movies, TV, collectibles, product launches, and related topics. Content is for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not professional advice of any kind (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise).

Accounts and desk access

Some areas of the Site (such as staff desk tools) are restricted. If you receive login credentials, you must keep them confidential, use them only as authorized, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or revoke access at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure in a way that harms service for others.
• Attempt unauthorized access to admin tools, APIs, accounts, or non-public data.
• Use the Site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when interacting with us.
• Copy or redistribute Site content except as allowed under "Intellectual property" below.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, text, design, logos, and original Site materials are owned by Dorkify or used under license. You may link to public pages and share links for personal, non-commercial discussion. You may not republish full articles, systematically mirror the Site, or use Dorkify branding in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

Trademarks, game titles, movie/TV titles, character names, and product names mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners. References are for commentary and identification.

Third-party images, stills, and packshots may appear with captions. Rights in those materials remain with their owners; we use them in connection with reporting and commentary as permitted by applicable law.

User submissions

If you send us tips, feedback, or other materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish that material in connection with operating and promoting the Site, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Do not send confidential information you are not allowed to share.

Third-party links and embeds

The Site may link to retailers, publishers, platforms, and other third parties (including affiliate or tracked links). We are not responsible for third-party sites, products, or policies. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including tools such as Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook technologies, Microsoft Clarity, Google Tag Manager when configured, and other analytics or advertising vendors. THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DORKIFY AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Dorkify and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the Site at any time. The "Last updated" date will change when Terms are revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction say otherwise. Courts located in Ohio will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, except where prohibited by law.
